Bloody hard; though I'm sure it gets easier to a point. I've started writing something, though I'm a bit of a perfectionist so don't want to write too much til I've sorted out the world around it.
yeah, I know what you mean :/. I've been working on the same world for a few years, and I get good ideas...but it's not nearly done...(usually when I'm not with a notepad of any type)
it depends on the type and the genre of the story that is being created, i am an part time author, and i have certain "strengths" and "weaknessess" in each type of story that i create....
This is a good question. I wouldn't necessarily consider it difficult. Though not easy either. It mainly depends on the mind of the writer and whether their writing is creative or literal and complex or simple. It's kind of hard to explain... But I do think it's terribly fun
You wanna talk difficult hehe I've got 12 composition notebooks 1 mostly full and the rest up to half full of notes parts of stories character bios and more. add to that the sum 500 or so documents of unfinished characters, races, stories, and sooooo much more lol. then finally the attention span of a goldfish and the inability to finish things, and write things the way they come to me in my head. oh yeah it's difficult, but fun especially when you realize that you can connect at least 10 characters from three different stories and cross their paths in each story because the timeline for each one happened to be the same and is wasn't a purposeful thing. lol
Hmm imo, when you make a drawing, and think of a story that goes with the drawing, it usually goes quite smooh, but making a book, or a random story is just damn hard, because you have to be original, have plots, have characters, etc, etc. but giving a piece of art or something a story, that is qite easy imo. So it really depends on what kind of story we are talking about here.
