When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I actually wanted to draw a phoenix for a while and then i found this contest [link] of
 . So i´m submitting it for that contest too.Phoenix are beautiful creatures with magical healing powers. They can become hundreds maybe thousands years old. When they die they burst into flames and are reborn out of there own ashes. Took me about 10 hours to draw. Comments Thats brilliant!

-- Save the ANIMALS + save the TRESS + save the SEAS = save the EARTH!!! Yay!  This piece reminds me of a poem that a friend of mine wrote (called Phoenix). She won an award for it, but I don't think she has a page on deviantART (at least, I haven't found her and she hasn't told me).
I like how the plumes of tail feathers seem to contour the clouds of ash below. -- "With enough soap, you can blow up the world." |
