Leafeon by Ruth-Tay Leafeon by Ruth-Tay
Its been a while since I could draw my own stuff. I had a busy time at work and I had to finish some old commissions. Anyway First of a portrait like series of the Eeveelutions. Leafeon.

I liked the idea of a plant taking over the body of leafeon, like a parasite, but Leafeon also takes advantage of the plant. It can live like a plant and live of the sun an nutrients of soil.

Very cool interpretation. I really enjoy the energetic shapes used for the leaves and the rich, bright color palette.

Wow, it's absolutely wonderful! It's so beautiful, and I like your idea of Leafeon. The leaves all over its body look quite beautiful, too, I really like it! And I simply love the way you did the ears!

Everytime I here about a plant taking over something's body like a parasite, it makes me think of Parasect. Hopefully it never gains control over Leafeon and only grows so much.

Although now that I think about it, I just got a really serene picture in my head of an old Leafeon dying in a forest clearing so that its plant can finally grow into a tree without worrying about killing the Leafeon. Like the tree lives on and grows into something beautiful due to the leafeon's final gift to it for helping it out its whole life.

So it's not a parasite, but a symbiotic relationship. :> That's a rather fascinating idea, I quite like it.
